Saudia unveiled its operational plan for this years Hajj season, allocating more than 1.2 million airline seats for pilgrims

NewsOver 1.2 million aircraft tickets are reserved for pilgrims traveling to the Kingdom, according to Saudia's operating plan, which was released for this year's Hajj season. The Saudi Press Agency said that the official airline of the Kingdom, which has more than 150 aircraft in its inventory, has promised to provide pilgrims with “top-notch services” during the Hajj.
The airline operates for seventy-four days during the Hajj season, starting on May 9. It covers both trips out and trips back.
Throughout the season, about 11,000 frontline staff members and technicians will be employed by Boeing. 120,000 pilgrims will be served by the Makkah Route initiative, and the "Hajj with No Bags" service will also be operational.
During the Hajj, the airline expects to handle 270,000 suitcases and 240,000 Zamzam water bottles.
According to Amer Alkhushail, CEO of Saudia Hajj and Umrah, the national airline is "honored" to be a key player in providing pilgrims with services that are in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
He said Saudia can communicate with pilgrims from all over the world in thirty languages because to its workers.
Alkhushail highlighted Saudia's in-flight entertainment, which provides pilgrims with instructional and guidance materials created in partnership with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, and noted that onboard meals are customized to fit a variety of preferences.
In order to facilitate travel after the conclusion of Hajj ceremonies, Saudia also provides luggage collection services from pilgrims' homes, he continued.
