07 Jun 2023
NewsPrince Abdullah bin Bandar, Saudi Arabia's Minister of the National Guard, has started the Women's Support Line Project, which is a part of the National Family Safety Programme (NFSP) and falls under the ministry's Health Affairs division.
Through specialised counselling and direction on the needs and obstacles that women may encounter, the project will provide support and empowerment for women across Saudi Arabia.
You may reach the specialised counselling team seven days a week by dialling 199022.
The project's objectives are to enhance family counselling services and make them more accessible to their clients, who will be connected with the appropriate authorities as and when necessary.
Additionally, it will give women the essential support, protection, and care, bolster their resilience in the face of obstacles and problems, and raise community awareness.
Emergency situations will be handled right away by the project through a direct referral system to the relevant authorities.
