Ancient Kingdoms Festival celebrating the rich history of ancient civilizations in AlUla concludes on November 30

News EventAlUla is commemorating the rich past of the ancient civilizations that once flourished in the area with the Ancient Kingdoms Festival, which runs until November 30. Through a range of events, including daytime activities, exploratory tours, and nighttime excursions based on historical tales, the festival blends heritage and culture, all under the direction of specialist teams, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The National Archaeological Museum of Naples' "Masterpieces of the MANN" exhibition, which is on display at the Maraya cultural center, is a highlight.
Artifacts from Pompeii and Herculaneum, two Roman cities buried beneath volcanic ash, are being used for the first time in Saudi Arabia to examine the aftermath of Mount Vesuvius' explosion in A.D. 79.
Also on display are items from the famed Farnese Collection, which houses ancient Greek and Roman artwork.
Drone displays, the Hegra Candlelit Classics music series, and the "Hegra After Dark" event at Saudi Arabia's first UNESCO World Heritage Site are further unique experiences.
In Wadi Al-Naam, also known as the Valley of the Ostriches, which is renowned for its striking rock formations, tourists can also take part in the "Quest for the Ancient Kingdoms" trip.
