General Secretariat of the King Faisal Prize has announced that it welcomes nominations for the 2025 award

For the King Faisal Prize's five categories—service to Islam, Islamic studies, Arabic language and literature, medicine, and science—the general secretariat has announced that it is accepting submissions. Dr. Abdulaziz Alsebail, the secretary general of the King Faisal Prize, noted that this is a high point in the prize's 47-year history of recognising and honouring notable people and organisations that have improved mankind through their achievements.

The award categories for 2025, according to Dr. Alsebail, will be Islamic Studies: "Studies of Archaeology in the Arabian Peninsula," Arabic Language and Literature: "Studies of Identity in Arabic Literature," Medicine: "Cellular Therapy," and Science: "Physics." The Service to Islam Prize, he continued, is an honorary award given to people whose acts of kindness have greatly benefited Islam, Muslims, and all of mankind.

Nominations for the award are being taken from research centres as well as academic and scientific institutes for a 7-month period that ends on March 31, 2024. Postal mail, email ([email protected]), or the award's nomination website (www.kingfaisalprize.org/nominations) are all acceptable methods of submission. Visit www.kingfaisalprize.org for more information on the King Faisal Prize and its governing statutes.
