During the official opening of the International Horticultural Expo 2023 in Doha, Saudi Arabia's pavilion drew leaders, chiefs of state, participating delegations, and people from across the world. Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, as well as a number of leaders and government heads, visited the Saudi pavilion, where they were greeted by the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman Bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli.

Visitors were given an explanation about the Kingdom's pavilion by Saleh Bin Abdulmihsen Bin Dakhil, the General Supervisor of Saudi Arabia's participation in the exhibition, who reviewed the work of green environmental initiatives, the effective contributions of renewable energy, and investment in major environmentally friendly projects.

The Saudi pavilion, according to Bin Dakhil, includes several main areas, most notably the "Our Nature" area, which reflects the natural landscapes and terrain in the Kingdom, as well as the area that highlights Saudi Arabia's ambitious present, the "Our Initiatives" area, which contains the most prominent initiatives and projects currently in existence.

Among the pavilion's areas is one that emphasises the Kingdom's bright, sustainable future, known as the "Our Prosperity" area, which is based on highlighting the role of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 in shaping the future by encouraging environmental prosperity and enhancing the Kingdom's vegetation, as well as reviewing the Kingdom's most prominent environmental and sustainability programmes.

The Saudi Pavilion also has an interactive section where visitors may learn about the ecology. The pavilion also draws guests with traditional arts and folkloric dances inspired by the country's past. This is in addition to being ornamented with various distinctive tree species that represent the geographical character of Saudi Arabia, such as Ziziphus spina-christi (Known as Sidr), lavender, basil, and other plants.
