On Wednesday, King Salman officially opened the Riyadh Metro Project. The King viewed a documentary film during the opening ceremony that outlined the project's key components. This project is one of the largest public transportation initiatives the Kingdom has seen during his affluent time.
Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, spoke at the event and said that the Riyadh Public Transport Project, which consists of two parts—trains and buses—is a result of King Salman's planting and is founded on his astute vision from his time as chairman of the High Commission for the Development of Riyadh.
