Riyadh School of Tourism and Hospitality to be opened; aims to provide the best training in the field of tourism and travel

Ahmed Al-Khateeb, the minister of tourism, announced the launch of the Riyadh School of Tourism and Hospitality, which would offer the greatest training in the travel and tourist industry. The school will feature a sizable campus that will cost over $1 billion and span five million square metres in Qiddiya. It is expected to open by 2027.

According to the minister, the school's next campus would be built in Qiddiya by 2027 on a 5,000,000-square metre parcel of land. It is significant that on April 7, 2017, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman officially unveiled the Qiddiya project. The Qiddiya project is regarded as the world's biggest metropolis of culture, sports, and entertainment.

The Saudi Real Estate Company (SRECO) recently announced that one of its subsidiary companies, the Saudi Real Estate Infrastructure Company Binyah, in collaboration with the Infraroad Trading and Contracting Company, had signed contracts for a series of infrastructure projects with the Qiddiya Investment Company. According to SRECO, the project involves building certain significant infrastructure networks, including as main and minor highways, utility networks, utility canals, pedestrian bridges and rainfall drainage canals, for the Qiddiya project. A wastewater treatment facility, irrigation water storage tanks, a pumping station, a drinking water storage tank, and a solid waste transfer centre are all included in the package.
