Riyadh Season achieves new milestone with the total number of visitors reaching six million

Only a week after announcing that it had surpassed 4 million visitors, Riyadh Season has reached a new milestone; six million people have visited overall. Advisor Turki Al-Sheikh, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA), made this announcement. 

This massive influx of tourists could be explained by the variety of events and entertainment areas that saw a lot of people during the first-semester vacation, which attracted both local and foreign tourists. 

"The Venue," the recently opened area close to "Kingdom Arena," "Boulevard City," "Boulevard World," the "Zoo," and "Al-Suwaidi Park" are some of the locations that helped to generate this noteworthy turnout. Another popular attraction is the "Wonder Garden," which opened to the public a week ago. 

According to the Ministry of Tourism, hotel and apartment occupancy in Riyadh exceeded 90 percent, with 5-star hotels in the city achieving a 97 percent occupancy rate during the recent mid-year school vacation. 

The Riyadh Season, the Saudi Winter events calendar, and a number of international conferences conducted in the capital are all responsible for this spike in tourist.
