As part of Riyadh Season, the Riyadh Zoo, which is home to over 1,400 animals from 190 species, is returning for its third year and is providing new engaging and informative activities for guests of all ages.
The zoo began offering free admission to the public on October 30. Through the Webook platform, visitors may purchase tickets and see a range of animals in settings that closely resemble their native habitats.
"Croc Cave," one of the new activities, allows visitors to safely view crocodiles from safe platforms. Visitors can interact closely with and even feed a variety of exotic birds at the "Bird Zone." The "Kangaroo Yard," where visitors may interact with and take pictures of the well-known Australian creatures, is another feature.
Additionally, there is a brand-new bird show that delights the audience with skilled and amusing dances and stunts performed by trained birds. Through hands-on activities, visitors may learn more about nature and animal life at the zoo thanks to an interactive farm experience that has been added to its educational programs.
This 161,000-square-meter zoo is open everyday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additionally, the location has food trucks and kiosks to serve guests all day long. The layout of the Riyadh Zoo includes areas with fewer stairs and more level areas for those with impairments, enabling everyone to explore the park easily and have a full experience.
