ROSHN Group has announced the development of an iconic 45,000-seat stadium in Southwest Riyadh

Southwest Riyadh's historic 45,000-seat stadium is set to be developed, as announced by the ROSHN Group on Tuesday. The historic project, which will occupy more than 450,000 square meters, will include a wide variety of stores, eateries, and hospitality venues, resulting in a bustling mixed-use destination. 

The main sports and event floor, with its open and cohesive design that effortlessly connects multiple facilities, will be the focal point of the complex. Inspired by the center area of Saudi Arabia's architectural legacy and contemporary crystalline architecture, the ROSHN Stadium will rise to the sky.

This project highlights ROSHN's dedication to improving people's quality of life through sustainable real estate development and is a major milestone in the company's expansion into mixed-use developments across several industries, including sports facilities. The stadium is a vibrant destination since it offers access to public green spaces, walkways, and sports facilities for visitors. 

The stadium, which will hold various entertainment, cultural, and social events, is built to match the specifications needed to host major international athletic events. 

Modern water and energy management technology, such solar panels built into the stadium's infrastructure, are part of the sustainable design. Improved air movement from the roof design guarantees proper ventilation and regulated solar access during the day.
