The first AI-powered eye screening tests were launched in Saudi Arabia, and experts predict this could revolutionise medical diagnostics in the Kingdom. A group that includes the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence, Lean Business Services, King Khalid Eye Specialist Hospital, and the Saudi Company for Artificial Intelligence has been driving the "Eyenai" solution.
The system can accurately identify diabetic retinopathy, streamline screening, and save time and money thanks to its sophisticated analytics and algorithms developed by Saudi AI specialists.
There are now many Eyenai screening stations in use in Riyadh, and there are plans to open more around the Kingdom.
