The “Diriyah International Forum,” will be held on December 10, 11

The Diriyah Gate Development Authority and the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives are collaborating to organise the "Diriyah International Forum," which is scheduled for December 10–11. A prestigious assembly of academics, researchers, and intellectuals will come together for the event, which has as its topic "Diriyah: A Meeting Point of Cultures."

The two-day event seeks to advance global cultural and tourism promotion, foster cooperation amongst diverse specialisations and experiences, and stimulate innovative thinking. Reviewing Diriyah's architectural style will be the main emphasis, particularly in light of the inauguration of the UNESCO-listed old Turaif quarter and Bujairi Quarter, which is the city's premier eating destination in addition to other historical landmarks.

Three primary themes will be the major subjects discussed over the forum's varied sessions.

The first, "Architectural and Artistic Intersections," delves at the factors that influenced the region's unique architectural identity, ranging from the use of modern design elements to traditional mud structures.

"Historical Intersections" is the second topic, and it highlights notable individuals and important historical occurrences that shaped Diriyah's past.

The third is "Exploring the Past," which highlights the rich cultural past of the area while discussing the significance of archaeological findings, including artefacts and village ruins.

The forum helps to highlight initiatives aimed at celebrating and safeguarding Diriyah's history and legacy.
