The Red Sea Film Festival organisers have selected teams to compete in the 48Hr Film Challenge

The Red Sea Film Festival organisers have chosen teams to compete in the "48Hr Film Challenge" for young Saudi talents hoping to be filmmakers.

The French Cultural Centre, the French Consulate in Jeddah, and the French Embassy all support the challenge. Its mission is to identify and introduce unknown talents to Saudi and global audiences by giving them with the required training, information, skills, and experience to build their own film projects.

The competition will include fifteen teams competing, with the films being screened in August. Two winning teams will be chosen, and the head of each team will be invited to participate in film and directing events in France in 2024.
